The Cave Singers posses a raw strength in their music that is lacking in so much of modern folk. Yes, folk music can serve it’s purpose by being beautiful, but these songsĀ  are also supposed to be of and for the people; why not have some songs just a little darker than the average four chord story? In “Dancing On Our Graves” The Cave Singers execute a song that is as danceable as a rock tune, but with that rooted rawness that has weaved it’s way into the stories of every folk song for generations.
